S terling SA was born on Easter Sunday, 2008.
He lives up to the meaning of his name, "thoroughly excellent". We are very
excited about this colt and he is everything that we dreamed
to get from this cross. He has a very classic dishy head, incredible
neck, legs that go on forever, powerful movement, and an in your
pocket disposition to go with it. He is out of our star mare
Elfin Reign SA
and being her first foal. He is sired by Koweta Arabians'
young stallion, Al Marah Fight Fair. Sterling is also the
first son of Fight Fair.
Sterling
injured his hock as a weanling which has left him with an
enlarged hock. His gentle, quiet nature led to a wonderful
recovery. At the moment he is sound and we still hope to
show him in halter and Sport Horse in Hand. Watch for him in
the show ring in 2010. He may not place well because of his
injury but I still want to have fun with him.
