For the
rider we offer:

265'x165' outdoor arena, (120'x 40' indoor arena is in the
works)
hot &
cold wash rack
air
conditioned/ heated riders lounge with full bathroom
facilities, kitchenette, TV and more, tack room, trails and
fields to ride on.
Access
to over 2700 acres of trails. On site trailer storage
available.
Daily
rates available. No long tern contracts or hidden fees, keep
your horse here for a few days or many years!!
Green River Stables offers friendly, professional, private, riding lessons
for all adults and children 4 years and older. All styles of
riding including basic western or English pleasure and trail
riding, to show events such as hunter jumper, English
equitation, showmanship, saddleseat, barrel racing, and more.
Prices are affordable and scheduling is very flexible. Handicap
and special needs are welcome!
Not ready for a trail ride through the woods? Bring the family
and ride well-mannered, friendly horses in our outdoor arena!
Walk, Trot, or Gallop your horse in a safe enclosed arena with
your friends or family. The cost is only $15.00/hr. per horse,
and we have all sizes from small pony's to large horses to suit
any member of the family! ( 4 or more, only $12.00/hr.)
Green River Stables
offers guided trail rides for small groups of 5 or less. One,
two or three hour trail ride over creeks, rivers, and through
woods and fields. The cost is $25.00/hr. per horse. Advance
reservations are required.
Are you on the road
, traveling cross country with your horse?, need a place to let
your horse stretch it's legs, and sleep in a clean, fresh stall?
Green River Stables offers over-night lodging for your horse.
You can park your camper or R.V. here, or drop your horse off, park your trailer, and
stay in a nearby hotel, ( we recommend The Hurricane Inn in
Waynesboro), while we pamper your equine friend. Get a good
nights sleep , knowing your horse is safe and well cared for.
Horse only- $45.00 per night. Two or more horses -$35.00 per
night. Add RV parking for an additional $25.00 per
night.
Green River Stables
offers many different horse leasing options. Tell us your needs
or interests, and we will customize an affordable program just
for you.
It's like having your own
horse without the worries of daily care & maintenance, trail
ride your leased horse, show your leased horse, or just love
your leased horse, we'll do the rest, call for details.
Green River
Stables offers public and private Horse Camps. Horse Camps are
held one or two days and consist of clinics throughout the day
on Basic Horsemanship Skills such as feeding, grooming, bathing
and caring for horses, as well as advance clinics on Training
tips and techniques, to saddling, bridling, and riding! This is
a great program for 4H groups, Brownies, Cub Scouts, Church
Groups, or any group that loves horses, and wants to learn more
about them! Lunch, and evening wiener roasts, are included and
all participants receive certificates of completion! Call or

Want to ride the famous
Buffalo River Trail Ride , (
www.brtr.com ) but your a
horseless rider? Green River Stables will provide horses for
daily rental for the Buffalo River Trail Ride, weekly rentals
also available.
(Intermediate riding skills are required for horse rentals)
